Frequently Asked Questions
-
Do you accept new patients, and what can I expect at my first visit?
es! We welcome all new patients at Rooted Dentistry. At your first appointment, we’ll review your dental and medical history, perform a comprehensive exam (including X-rays if needed), discuss your goals and concerns, and collaborate on a customized treatment plan that aligns with your long-term oral health.
-
What dental services do you provide?
We offer a full spectrum of care, including preventative cleanings and exams, restorative treatments (fillings, crowns, bridges), cosmetic dentistry (veneers, whitening, clear aligner therapy), dental implants and implant-supported restorations, periodontal (gum) care, extractions and emergency dental care—everything you need under one roof to maintain and improve your smile.
-
How do you handle dental emergencies?
We understand that dental emergencies can happen without warning. If you experience sudden pain, swelling, a broken tooth or other urgent dental issue, simply call our office and we will do our best to accommodate you the same day. Our goal is to relieve your pain and restore function as quickly as possible.
-
Do you offer sedation or comfort options for anxious patients?
Absolutely. We believe everyone deserves stress-free dental care. For patients who feel nervous or uneasy, we provide relaxing and comfortable options including sedation as appropriate. We’ll discuss your comfort preferences before treatment and tailor your experience to help you feel calm, safe and well-informed.
-
Do you accept dental insurance, and what payment options are available?
Yes, we accept many major dental insurance plans. We also offer an in-house membership plan for patients without insurance, and we partner with financing options to make your care affordable. We’ll clearly review your estimated costs and help you navigate insurance or payment choices so there are no surprises.
-
What technology and modern techniques does your practice use?
We invest in up-to-date dental technology and methods—from digital X-rays and 3D imaging to high-quality restorations and implant planning systems—to provide more accurate diagnoses, shorter treatment times, and more comfortable visits. We believe in combining personal care with advanced tools for better outcomes.
-
How often should I schedule dental cleanings or checkups?
For most patients, we recommend a professional cleaning and exam every six months to prevent cavities, monitor gum health, and catch issues early. However, if you have higher risk factors (e.g., gum disease, history of decay, or other health conditions), we may recommend more frequent visits—perhaps every three to four months.
