Get to Know Savannah Anderson, DDS

Whole-Person Care Rooted in Compassion

Dr. Savannah Anderson was raised in Lawrence, Kansas, where her passion for dentistry began at a young age. Growing up spending time in her mother’s dental office, she knew by the age of 10 that she wanted to follow in her footsteps. Dr. Anderson earned her undergraduate degree from Walla Walla University before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. During her training, she also spent a year studying abroad in Germany, an experience that broadened her perspective both personally and professionally.

Dr. Anderson loves that dentistry allows her to combine creativity, problem-solving, and meaningful human connection. She is passionate about helping patients improve not only their oral health, but their overall well-being, and believes strongly in treating the whole person—not just their teeth. Known for her calm, comforting presence, Dr. Anderson takes special pride in helping patients who experience dental anxiety feel safe, heard, and at ease in the dental chair.

When she’s not caring for patients at Rooted Dentistry, Dr. Anderson enjoys bouldering, skiing, camping, knitting and spinning her own yarn, and fly fishing. She also loves supporting the Seattle Sounders. At home, she spends time with her husband, Grant, and their cat, Battleship, who was aptly named by his rescue facility. Dr. Anderson is grateful for the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her patients and looks forward to creating healthy, confident smiles for years to come.
